Support Learning and Fruitful Community Goals!
We have a long-term vision for this little piece of heaven, but maintaining an orchard takes ongoing support. This includes caring for the plants, replacing trees when necessary, and expanding our reach through social media to share the story of this special place with more people. We work with schools and community groups to invigorate the idea of urban orcharding and beautification. Our hope is to inspire others—whether they decide to create their own community space or simply visit and enjoy the many wonderful places that communities like Richmond have to offer.

The Wayne County Foundation has been an excellent partner and supported MSCO through funding for scientific equipment and materials for the site. They helped with the purchase of science field kits and development of important interactive features at the orchard!
