Summer Outreach and Awareness

Outreach programs acquaint the community with the Mary Scott Community Orchard. On scheduled dates and times, an experienced orchard outreach coordinator can facilitate visits and tours that enhance the urban orchard experience.

We would like to introduce Jen. She has been a teacher-partner from the beginning! A career teacher and avid learner, Jen believes in learning and sharing about nature and all it has to offer. Learning means pushing into what we don't know. Come by for a visit and leave with something to think about!

Orchard outreach coordinators will be at the following times from June-July. Feel free to email and schedule a visit, or just pop on by and join everyone that's already there. We'll provide a tour and acitivities that help young people appreciate being outdoors. It may not be the biggest orchard around, but there's a lot to do!
